Was really scared of Whitney's Miltank, so I grinded both Gastly and Exeggcute and went with the plan of Cursing Miltank then switch to Exeggcute which had a stally set with Reflect / Leech Seed / Hypnosis / Protect. However, after Cursing with Gastly, a crit Rollout took him out. Exxegcute (named Ivern) stalled it to death with curse + leech seed.
After Whitney, I decided I need a failproof plan against Morty, so I snatched the Eevee from Bill and run around in circles until Umbreon could enter the game. However, while getting my route 38 encounter, hoping for a magnemite, a Tauros surprised me. I decided to box Rek'sai the Dunsparce, which pains me to do, but I might need it for my HG run, also I dont like having 2 normal types on the team.
After getting myself a Koffing on burned tower, I started the grind for morty.
Turns out Tauros learns Payback and Pursuit via level, which made it a perfect counter for Morty and made the Fog badge a breeze.
