I still respect it greatly- it’s probably the most versatile Pokémon you could ever want and it’s contained in a very cute little package (with an extremely well-executed design to boot), but it suffers from being very bland and extremely hard to get under any legitimate circumstance
I really do wonder how I managed to like Mew for so long though. It’s a fucking pink cat, my edgy ass should’ve been all over rejecting it. And yet the six year old girl whose favorite color was black and whose favorite animal was the fucking vampire bat would unashamedly tell people “yeah my favorite Pokémon’s the pink kitten that makes bubbles”.
