She isn't a loner introvert like Agatha and Shauntal and she's not spooky or associated with being some kind of medium in the way that Morty, Acerola, and Pheobe are. Even Ryme has the whole thing about her dog dying and brining it back to life.
Fantina appreciates an aspect of Ghost-Types that breaks the stereotypical associations and is a testament to the idea that you don't have to necessarily have a "fiery personality" or like volcanoes to be a Fire type specialist for example. You can still be you and find see a small bit of what you enjoy in a Pokemon or a certain type of Pokemon.
