I mean, I'm pretty sure I'm one of the few people that actually LIKED Max's presence in the Anime, but Bonnie completely outclasses him in terms of how the "4th wheel" was handled.
Bonnie is actually pretty entertaining, but doesn't really devolve into dead weight at times.
