I really love this guy, it started out as a superficial kind of liking: its color pattern is great, and contains pretty much all of my favorite colors (black and white, yellow and purple, red when I was younger), and its typing, other than Fighting being already one of my favorite types, immediately struck me as odd. Then I realized me and this guy were linked by a whole bunch of coincidences, probably because I was influenced by already liking it: the colors thing is already kind of one, then there's the fact that it evolves into something that weighs exactly like me (44kgs, I'm an underweight manlet, yes), the fact that it's from gen 4 (my favorite gen and also my lucky number), and the fact that it takes 4x damage from the type I like the least in the whole game.
After all that comes the nostalgia factor: first pokemon I have ever bred, in-game bro, and a little sad part: I went from Gen IV to Gen VI's metagame, skipping the only part where Toxicroak actually shined.
Not too bad after all, I would have liked it slightly less if it was overused. I'm currently still using it and lovin its sucker punches.
