>>36431252I got into the pokemon games a bit late and I honestly looked up which was the most popular Kanto starter and chose Bulbasaur because it seemed the least popular. I think Bulbasaur has gotten more popular over the years but it wasn't always like that. At least I grew out of thinking Venusaur was ugly and it's now my favorite pokemon. I'm not in love with the mega though.
