Not really a "dark" secret per se, but when I was a little kid it took me three attempts to get through the episode of Pokemon where Ash crossdressed for the first time. To this day I have no idea why, but it might have been second hand embarrassment caused by a time prior when my sister dressed me up.
Weirdly enough I grew to enjoy crossdressing, so yeah.
