I never really get the chance to read out loud when I skim over it to proof read I should proofread shit more often due to the fact that I live with other people in the same house, and I don't really want to disturb them.

I notice how some other writers like cge do it where there would be a line through the paper that would mean a transfer between perspectives .
How do you do that? I have been trying to move away from having a entire chapter being from one characters perspective, and involving more the two main characters I have right now in each chapter.
