Sorry, but by open world standards it's pretty fucking shit, and many steps back from Arceus in many ways.
Key of which is the fact that exploring doesn't seem to reward you much. Sparkling Pokemon are spread thin and are often shitmons, compared to Arceus where unique alphas could be found every few steps, and walking a few metres would change the kind of Pokemon you'd often find.
It's a straight up downgrade from Arceus in every way. Even the Wild Area in SwSh had unique powerful Pokemon spawn in specific places that rotated with the weather, SV barely even has that.
