I finished playing Ocandia Crusoes and Iris. It's definitely an interesting "region" and each game has some interesting features. I believe this might be the first instance in any game where I've been quite excited to join the Nazi party, after acquiring tools that casualize the most grindy aspects of assembling a team of pokemon(IV's, EV's and natures). I enjoyed the variety, even if a bit non-sensical such as Dragalge in the cave in Crusoes.
Being a bit jaded in regards to pokemon myself, I can see the games punishing people who aren't intimate with a majority of the mechanics.
My favourite part has to be the tonal shifts expressed through the magical Nigger word. Iris seems quite innocent and light-hearted and then the nigger-trapcard activates. I can only imagine the shocked confusion on unsuspecting players faces as they sped through the dialogue catching but a glimpse of the elusive Nigger. 8/10 solid prank, surprisingly solid gameplay.
