The game itself has its priorities in a mess and it made it generally feel scatterbrained, shallow, and poorly thought out. Them spending over half of the three year dev period on Amie wasn't that great of an idea, as much as I actually like the feature, as was them deciding to make the game even easier to appeal to modern kids who "don't have time for games" due to being preoccupied by social networking.
That said, I still enjoyed it. It was alright. I especially appreciate the mechanical improvements.
