Pokemon fans are the inverse of Sonic fans
Sonic fans shit on Sonic Team constantly and always want a better game. And you know what? They're completely in the right to, they've proven they can even do a better job at times with an overwhelming amount of fan games and romhacks existing.
Meanwhile Pokemon fans defend to the death anything GameFreak does, even if it's clearly at against their own interests. And they'll scorn any fans who attempt to do a better job in romhacks and fan games, even attempting to get them DCMA'd.
Also Pokemon fans are just as, if not even more autistic than Sonic fans, I'd argue Sonic autism has died down over the years while Pokemon continuously still gets creepy and weird fan art.
Imagine that, a fanbase worse than Sonic's, but not for the reasons you'd think.
