Obviously the original two seasons are unbeatable in comedy with the dynamic trio, in addition to Team Rocket, the ultimate theater thespians, and last but not least, Togepi. We can't forget about Togepi's scathing commentary every time the gang's plans go awry. In Horizons, however, it is more about the wonderment Liko experiences whilst being swept away in the adventures of that professor guy and crew. We can even see stark contrast from Indigo league with how competent this generations villains are. No more are we seeing Team Rockets formulaic (and funny) entry only to have their ill-constructed plans fail at the drop of a hat. We are instead seeing a real threat to the game that creates a sense of suspense that we aren't used to in the older Pokemon generations, and I find it mildly thrilling I guess
