But kindness and empathy are not impossible for humankind. There will be people sho show you love who stand to gain nothing from it other than the satisfaction of putting good into the world. In the real world, humans are the greatest source of empathy and care in the world. Dogs come close, because they have evolved to be more like us to fit in our society. The ideals of the pokemon world are human ideals. Your humans suck, but there are good ones, and we are working to encourage good mental and emotional health to be normal things people can expect to have. We are far from there yet, and I'm sorry the world has failed you. You don't need my permission to give up, but I hope you won't. Not because I know who you are or stand to gain anything from you, but because a brighter future for all is my dream, and EVERYONE is part of that dream.
