>>36613509Judging by how intelligent some pokemon are canonically, (being able to understand english, use tools, show complex emotions etc ) you would probably get looks but I imagine it's not some illegal taboo in the pokemon universe, just weird. Especially if Mystery Dungeon exist, then pokemon are the equivalent of some more advanced pygmy tribe or something. Plus I'm pretty sure humans are considered pokemon as well in some form.
If there's religion in pokemon it's more likely to be a taboo in the same way religion creates taboo out of most non-hetero sexual practices. If you can't produce an offspring with a pokemon than it's not imperative and probably would fit in with gays and the rest.
