If pokemon is "balanced" for doubles rather than singles, and singles fan made metagames are always so extremely modified with new rulesets, plus we now have several simulators purely for battling why don't we just start modifying the game itself? Dota evolved from Warcraft 3 mods, why do we insist purely on simulating pokemon when we could be running our own competitive version of it?
