i almost kind of wonder if jan wanted to just end the game right here
i mean, it's so abundantly clear this is just the final boss
when we get to the actual final boss he'll need to find some way to rack up the buildup even more
and given how terrible it was in this chapter i can't wait to see how worse he can take it
