If they are the strongest trainers in the region and among the strongest in the world, they should have expert command in all types. A perfect Elite 4 that I envisioned is a group of people who are experts in various battle techniques. Like Terrain Manipulation, Weather Control, Ability Utilizers, and a Master Strategist. The Champion is someone who is at Battle Tower level of expertise but using Pokemon with appropiate Pokemon levels. I don't want a League full of monotype toddlers and troons, I want to have a proper challenge to end my journey.
