We're the champions! That said, we did end up losing half our squad in the process. Curie barely missed a Psybeam on Koga's own Venomoth, which sealed her fate to him. Lance was a huge problem, because Rosalind barely couldn't take down his Aerodactyl, and she was one-shot by its Rock Slide. In retrospect, I should've put in Ermengem to Surf it to death, but I wanted to keep Rosalind on the field so I didn't have to switch into the level 50 Dragonite. Speaking of which, without Rosalind, Leakey had to try and tank it, but really just could not stand up to its assault, so she died too.
Luckily, Cohn was an absolute clutch monster. Really, Cohn was the main salvaging factor for Will, Bruno, and Lance, earning the MVP. Turns out that Leech Seed + Sleep Powder is the most OP combo in Pokemon.
I'm not sure if I'll end up doing Kanto this time; I did it for Gold, and it was a pretty big drag, especially the grind to Red. Lemme know what you guys think I should do. If I do it, I'll probably bring in Natu & Donphan, and just catch a sixth Mon in Kanto.
>>44874759Good luck Anon! You've got a bit of a type overlap problem, but luckily I don't think you have to worry too much about water. Just don't use Hypno or Girafarig vs. Karen. If I were you, I'd bring in Mankey & Magnemite.
>>44873361Congrats on the Sun win! And this looks like a pretty comfy squad so far, probably will want to end up subbing out Beakka or Monty eventually.
>>44873136Congrats! Drake and Steven are tough, so no shame there. Hope to see a future run later.
