I'm just gonna let it out here then OP. I feel unironic emotional pain seeing this place complain all the time. Not because I think they're wrong, not because they don't like things I don't like or anything. It's because I'm seeing a bunch of anons who genuinely have a passion for something and love it that feel completely powerless because of what's happened and have genuine reason to criticize and complain. Not a day goes by that I wish /vp/ would at least try and do something, maybe try and change other people's minds. Even if it was futile I feel like every anon here could at least feel a little better about themselves if they just tried. I feel like maybe, just maybe if people managed to change people's minds then their prayers would be answered. It just pains me that I see people just being so bitter instead of trying to use that bitterness as motivation to try and change things. And if you really believe there's absolutely nothing you can do just join a ROMhack/essentials project or something, if you can't change a thing officially than try and at least help give a better alternative for your feelow anons. I'm sorry if I come off as demanding or preachy or if I'm so retarded I can believe /vp/ could make the impossible possible but it just hurts me knowing that there are plenty of people who love Pokemon just as much as, probably more than I do, who can feel nothing but sadness about the way things are, and have good reason to feel that way that get shat on for no good reason when even though they may not be entirely right the right sentiment is still there.
