I lead Lenora and she leads Spiritomb. My plan is to waste one of her Full Restores and get her Spiritomb low enough to where I can bring in Ilima or Bendova or Elias.
But, on the third turn after some weak Psychics the bitch switches straight to Garchomp! Fair enough, I guess the AI knows when a strat won't work. But then on my switch to Ilima she goes for Dragon Rush, not Brick Break! Now I'm in a bad spot, I Return as she now goes for Brick Break, I'm not doing enough so I go for a deliberately suicidal Brave Bird to bring her sadly only to red health as Ilima is killed. RIP.
I can now send in Erin who I've retaught Ice Beam as she heals but THAT doesn't kill. Then the next turn she swaps into Lucario on my Ice Beam jesus fuck. I Flamethrower as the Lucario EQs randomly to bring it to red HP, then for some fucking reason she swaps back into Garchomp to let it die. Then she brings in Lucario again to use Psychic (it has Aura Sphere btw) so it can die too.
Fucking insane. So on Milotic, I bring in Whitney as it sets Aqua Ring. It then spams Mirror Coat straight for 6 turns and lets me fully buff up, I did forget to teach Return to Whitney over Rain Dance so I have to Waterfall which is a 2HKO, but before I hit my second Waterfall it freezes me with Ice Beam. I then sit there for literally 20 turns (1% chance of this happening btw), frozen, as this Milotic slowly tries to kill me, along with mixing in some Mirror Coats, then I thaw once I hit 10 HP and land a Waterfall, but I've been frozen so long it's healed enough to take two. Then the next turn it decides to Mirror Coat AGAIN and I just kill it.
I just want to end it at this point so I send in Elias to kill Roserade and Spiritomb to say I've cleared a DPPt nuzlocke using Snorlax, I'll put that on my resume somewhere.
I'm actually kind of speechless, but a win is a win. F to the fallen, especially Ilima
