>>42633889>>42634175I'd place around 90% of the people who play the game that I've interacted with very far out of that intersection really; I've had an equal amount of people who like Polandball stuff and want to play a Polandball game and Pokemon fans who think its interesting enough to give it a go. The game itself doesn't even really draw out of the comics in nature beyond the designs, they're our opportunity to make an /int/ernational humour game without using something like Hetalia
Ultimately I feel like its about open-mindedness. I don't think anyone should play it if they aren't interested in it, that's silly. But to drop it completely because it doesn't have a vanilla pokedex or traditional fakemon dex feels like a stickler thing. I'm not discouraged by people who refuse to play it because it has no Pokemon, I have anticipated that kind of thing from a community with so many varying degrees of 'puritanism,' no offense meant obviously. I would only wish that more people carried an open mind is all. I've always personally found crossover fangames very fascinating
