Here's a video showing that side by side (with frame skip enable not that it mattered since neither could even get 60 fps with all this junk running) that

got 45 fps without movement and dropped to 35-40 with
WHILE

got 50 fps and dropped to 45 with movement
and again my laptop is too weak to really demonstrate this well I could upload two different videos showing the sustained fps in battle or in overworld for both I guess, if there's interest I'll do that but you can also just test it on your machine
