>>47062061I played the shit out of Gen V and I pretty much agree with him. At the time I didn't care because I was more interested in the story, and I had already decided I was going to get Snivy back when we were calling it Smugleaf so I didn't care about most of the dex aside from that. But even then I recognized most of the Pokemon were ugly as sin, and I was immensely disappointed to find some of the cooler ones like Braviary were not only version exclusive but gated toward the back of the game. The Kanto expies drag the game down, and there are too many of them.
BW2 has a more interesting monster distribution.
