>>53871553>Eleki's effect is better than Regice's? Not so hard to graspI do not take bottom objectives for the buff but more so because of the global exp and even more so to deny the enemy team a free source of XP.
My entire goal is to accumulate and secure as much EXP for my team while denying as much for the enemy team, so securing bottom objectives is aligned with my mission statement.
Now for this particular scenario, I think it's a rather bad idea to go for top regi. As we have free exp to farm top side, and even if we won top regi, which I would have more than likely been too late to even contest it, what purpose would it serve? Let's say I took top regi instead, where does it crash? It's only going to go into their outer top goal and we gain pretty much nothing from that. Even if we took top outer goal we are now giving them free exp. Currently, they've broken our top goal, which is denying their side of the map XP, while my top side gets free exp, and I'm now securing our team global exp.
Your advice on leaving the red buffs, I do not agree but I also do not think it's necessarily incorrect. It's more of a trade off. I'd rather be late to a fight by a few seconds and have red buff which makes me much stronger and secures kills much easier, than get there early without it. Maybe Zacian doesn't need it as much as say Dragapult, who I believe can not function in his role without it.
As you can see from the many posts going back and forth with you, which were not me btw, I think this exercise was valuable. I know we all will never agree 100% but I do think that mine and a few others have some valuable input on the macro game and where we should be on the map. There's also a benefit to newer players or players new to mobas, they can see and hear multiple lines of thought and take that information into their matches.
