This isn't an argument. This is hyper subjective and anyone with more than 3 brain cells to run together can see that they fit in line perfectly with Pokemon designs.

Every generation is inherently a spin on gen 1 due to the fact that it laid the groundwork for how generations of pokemon are introduced.
