>>48363122Yeah, I'd expect Unova to Galar, not vice versa. Hoenn is also missing entirely and only seven regions are included, which actually makes sense given that the lore surrounding the Primals leaves only Jirachi and the Regis, since Deoxys is an extraterrestrial. Nonetheless, it'd be interesting to see which direction they take it if they do create a Hoenn-based Legends title, since real-life Kyushu is historically and culturally significant. Not only are there other ethnic groups like the Ryukyuans on the islands to the south of Kyushu, but it's also the first Japanese island to be settled by Yayoi farmers, who introduced rice cultivation, metallurgy, textiles and horses from the Korean Peninsula and China. The modern Japanese/Yamato people have primarily Yayoi ancestry.
"Yayoi culture, (c. 300 bce–c. 250 ce), prehistoric culture of Japan, subsequent to the Jōmon culture. Named after the district in Tokyo where its artifacts were first found in 1884, the culture arose on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu and spread northeastward toward the Kantō Plain."
