For example, consider the features which were present in the past games but do not appear anymore, like Vs. Seeker, Battle Frontier or difficulty modes. They were implemented before, which means GF could absolutely put them in again if they cared and yet, their implementation seems to have been an exception rather than a new minimum. At this point I wouldn't be shocked if walking Pokemon, reappearing for the first time in 9 years, would once again get removed in generation VIII.
Also a minor but still related thing that pisses me off is that we still get """""cities""""" like pic related. Sorry, but this shit could fly 15-20 years ago, but after Castelia there is no excuse for pic related being not only a city, but also a third fucking biggest settlement on Alola with just 44 inhabitants.
