Most players wouldn't notice it but it would be another high brow way to game, kind of like IV training.
And with a 25 hour system a pokemon's prime time would be offset by an hour each day. And you could keep track of it by some BS horoscope or NPC.
Although I don't know how people would feel about it, it might be too autistic, even for us. And I think game altering mechanics, even minor ones would be a hard sell, even though GF does it with each new game.
