Okay, so on Smogon, people have pretty much labeled Furfrou as an RU tier pokemon and I guess that's true, since not many people use it. Here is my argument as to why more people should have Furfrou on their team. HE CAN COMPLETELY WALL ALMOST EVERY PHYSICAL ATTACKER IN THE META GAME! Just to name a few; Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Mawile (although he can't really do much to Mawile either), Garchomp(mega), Tyranitar(mega), Blaziken(mega), Talonflame, Mega Herrocross, Azumarill, Mega Gyrados, and so much more!
My strategy is quite simple; 2x cotton guard, then toxic. Pretty much all physical attacks will do next to nothing, tho only exception being Sacred Sword (look out for Aegislash). Any physical attacker going up against Furfrou will just gradually lose HP thanks to toxic and their attacks won't do much damage at all. Once Furfrou's HP does get low, rest + chesto berry does the trick nicely. This also helps if Furfou himself is poisoned or burned. The last move I have on him is Snar, which lowers opponents Sp.Atk and that should be obvious how that can be useful.
EV's 252 HP, 200 Def, and 54 Sp.Def.(TBH, I don't even remember what EV's I hae assigned to my Furfrou). Bold Nature Item - Chesto Berry
