>>54522203As much as I like the PMD games, I think they need to break from the traditional formula a bit.
- Make the protagonist an actual Pokémon, not yet another human that got turned into one.
- Have more mons available to play as that aren't ONLY starters or shillmons.
- Don't restrict evolutions to the post-game for once. Yes I know it's more work for the animation team for each evo stage story-wise, but good games require hard work put into them, no?
- More mini-campaigns like in the second PMD games for the various characters you meet, but as part of the main game where the things you do in them aren't all just events of the past.
- Items that only specific lines can use which grant passive effects like in the Explorers games. Maybe not for every SINGLE line, but perhaps something that could work for say... the Beheeyem/Alakazam/Hypno family, for example.
- Explore the history of humans in the PMD world, and why they all but disappeared. Maybe have a mini campaign of mystery dungeons that take place in once-inhabited areas that give clues as to what happened to them
Mayhaps even show what the PMD mons would do if they found one of the few remaining humans, if any remained.
- Explore the mystery of, well... mystery dungeons themselves. It could be that one of the legendary or mythicals could be revealed to have created them in this setting.
- More bosses in general, with unique theme songs for said bosses.
- Speaking of bosses, we need to go back to having Pokémon as the main antagonists, not out of place eldritch beings like giant snowflakes or dark orb things.
