>>52333180It totally should be Goh's moment. I bring up M09 because I'm still not over how Ash stole the ending from May, when it had 100% been her movie up to that point. Max got M06, a movie OC got M07, Ash got M08, and May got MOST of M09. So yeah, I don't want Ash to show up; I want him and Goh to achieve their victories separately and then come together to celebrate afterward at the Cerise lab.
As for including the scene at the end of 132, I think it'll turn out to just be how they wanted to tie the "chronology" together, to make it clear 133 and 134 happen within the 132 timeframe, and also make us guess (because, I mean, it's not helpful for us to think of how this'll look once the season is over rather than as an ongoing TV show meant to surprise the audience and make us tune in next week). As I just posted in /padt/, once 135 airs, there will probably be a lot of us revising history to pretend whatever 135 ends up being was "obvious from the start" and how we "totally knew it all along" and "only fools misinterpreted it" in the weeks leading up to it. I mean, how many of us, once 136's title drops, are going to pretend we didn't fall for the idea that the anime, as a whole, was ending? Thankfully as an anon with no social media, I'll have no problem pretending I "knew it all along!" once all is said and done.
