I feel really bad for the anime's dub. Just think, somewhere down the line, someone is actually proud of what they're putting out every week.
Someone had to sit down and write those 10 second long, commercial-friendly excuses for opening songs and remove Next episode previews/PokeProblems for commercial time. Someone had to to take time to re-write the script, censor it, and add in corny jokes.
The VAs probably have pride in their performances. If not, they wouldn't keep recording those same characters week after week.
Someone had to put effort into replacing music that TPCi didn't want to pay for. And finally, someone signed off on the whole thing saying an episode was a satisfactory product to show children of all ages.
But no matter how much hard work goes into it, the dub still turns out just fucking awful and looks like no one put any care or much effort into it at all.
