Look, normally a game just has to look like it plays well, look interesting, and look like fun to attract buyers. But this is Pokemon, and we've done this before. Almost literally. And it wasn't that great.
I for one am sick of DLC: The Game. Unless they show me there's something worth buying here, I'm not buying. I haven't actively condemned USUM yet, but I don't think what we've seen is good either... Assembly's an exception, but that ain't enough to get me to buy another game.
Ever wonder why they stopped marketing compared to how they marketed SM? Maybe, there ISN'T anything remarkably new to show, and they want to continue gliding through with the bare minimum without the normies catching on. So until we get the game/more new info, I'll praise (fat chance)/condemn anything they show, like creamsicle daytime doggo recolor, all I want.
