Something that should be experienced, one way or another. In your starting area, you can get maybe two water types(the incredible Finneon and Goldeen), and powerhouses like Purrloin, Mankey, Trubbish, Gulpin, Rattata, Blitzle, Kricketot,and Burmy.

Also, Vulpix used to be available very early on, but I guess drought triggered reborn's dev, and it was shunted off to the side.
