Lots of shit going on right now. I wake up in Guardia Town -- "Where lives of new guardians begin." -- and the town's graphics also look pretty good. I won't let that deceive me though because I said the same thing about Rescue Rangers.
My Mom gives me my Running Shoes (which is good, because I had to go through like five towns in RoL and get two badges in RR before I could run there) and Kevin challenges me to a battle; his Pokémon is a Lv. 3 Charmander, so I assume Bulbasaur goes to another guy. Like I said, the music here is pretty good.
I beat him, and then a new trainer walks by with what looks like a Fakemon. Didn't get a screenie in time, but it looks sorta like Renamon from its overworld sprite and I'm sure I'll see it in full later.
My Mom comes by and tells me she signed me up for a trainer academy, and a girl in a house asks me to find something in a mine for her (she only said it once so I'm not entirely sure), then "Quest Number 1" comes up. I don't know how I'm supposed to access my quests, maybe I just need to write them down.

Jagold couldn't you have waited more than 20 minutes before making yourself God in this game? I mean it's good that the game will tell me where to go after RoL refused to give a hint at it for half the game, but inserting yourself is not the way to go for that.
