I got the Japanese version of B/W when it came out and I used to play on Random Matchup a lot before the games had come out in America or Europe. Literally every opponent I faced had a good, balanced team and was a challenge. As soon as the games were released in other parts of the world, the matchmaking was flooded with retards using a starter and a team of scrubs with no held items, etc.
