Besides, the same game that gave us the scourge of Zacian also shat out the steaming pile that is Alcreamie. Every type has shitmons, most of which are the result of a) trying to fill the same niche that another member of that type is better at, or b) getting stuck with a gameplan that doesn't work with the strengths of the user's type combo. Ice magically stops being the shittiest type when you slap it on something that can actually present a solid offensive threat (Kyurem with good Ice moves, Weavile despite having useless Abilities, Arctozolt despite being heavily dependent on Hail) so the most effective buff for the type is probably to spread around things like Slush Rush more. Giving Glaceon Slush Rush is an obvious buff, which also helps Aurorus and Abomasnow by giving them more reason to see use in middling formats. Frosmoth was doomed by not being Galarian Volcarona, so give it higher stats (mostly in Speed) and some coverage moves (Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, possibly even Focus Blast) and it might stop sucking as bad as it does now. I honestly don't think extra resistances would go as far as you seem to think, especially for the four you mentioned since Glaceon would still suck because it's slow and the other three would suffer from their secondary types being pretty poor defensively as well.
