So I try to arrange things such that some readers pick up a story and enjoy the surprise of now realizing "what that scene in the other story was about" and other readers enjoy the surprise of a previous story's left-open questions being answered in a moment that serves to break up the monotony of the current story's A plot.
That's of course at the highest level with the relationship of LL and Eternally Vernal, since they overlap end-to-end; most people will read LL first (because of #gardevoir or because it was released years earlier) but those that take E/V first will see it as a continuous timeline and have a completely different reaction to the moments in LL when G. V. starts exercising her influences.
