>>55872377thank you for trying to mitigate some of the shitflinging & genwars. i barely browse here anymore it's gotten so bad, especially with all the coomer threads & attention being given to recurring figures like shawn, PL & yawnfag. i know this is still 4chan but it all feels so mindless nowadays.
i've got quite a few things to say about each
>least favourite; SVi overall think that SV has a lot great ideas, but just fumbles the execution due to its corporate time constraints. with more time i genuinely think it could've been way better: i really love the concept of one-time, but renewable TMs, but the material grind for something so integral to pokemon feels a bit icky. i think open world has so much potential that SV does somewhat tap into, but having no scaling at all stills makes it feel like there's a set path i should be following.
i also quite like the attempts they made with actually making a more involved, narrative story, & the final ai professor battle/everything leading up to it was genuinely cool.
>favourite; B2W2pokestar studios is an obvious one, although mainly how long they actively force you to interact with it, as i actually enjoyed engaging with it on my own time & pace.
aside from challenge mode giving leaders/e4 actually new & altered teams, the keys system is so utterly stupid(at least in terms of locking difficulty options behind it, the regi doors & cities are cool) especially considering the ways in which challenge mode isn't even functional. i desperately believe that good difficulty options(preferably not just a generic easy/normal/hard, but also being able to fine tune specific things like trainer AI, in battle items, pokemon levels that work properly, etc.) would solve so many issues with pokemon, but having the only real attempt gf made be such a dumpster fire really hurts.
i'm also not a fan of locking breeding to the post game, & the swords of justice being right there in the middle of routes is really dumb as well.
