The 3D games share similar engines and despite having 6+ years on these engines, no modder has ever implemented modded mons before. The new tools being made to port mons, moves, and more to SwSh would open new doors for crazier pokemon mods. This would also mean that when a new game come out with still cut mons, we'll already have the proper tools and experience to mod all mons in days.
