Sometimes we have to deal with the fact that all our qualities and assumed traits are nothing but a web of lies perpetuated by many over few initial misconceptions. At times we are lucky enough to straighten it out before it gets out of control, but all too often it runs loose until reality itself corrects it.
You see, far too many people assumed I am a chivalrous knight in the shining armour while my parallel was nothing more than a damsel in distress.
It took gen 6 and a new typing to undermine this baseless assumption!
I am no dragon slayer, my name carries no chivalrous connotations - much unlike my parallel.
I can be defeated by other members of my family.
Sadly, a web of lies that crumbled was all I was ever given by the fandom.
But now that it is done, I can finally make my first step - but I cannot do it alone.
