To ask an obvious question: Anyone else very glad Gamefreak is getting wrecked from the trailer controversies? I'm so happy the overwhelming majority of /vp/ is exhausted with laughably incompetent devs like Masuda turning a series which should be kino into a broken mess. It's simply fucking unacceptable, and it's nice we've all woken up for a change.
I remember with Sun and Moon there was genuine excitement when we were expecting to establish gyms as we charter around Alola among all the other things celebrated as being a salvation. Guzma and Wicke even got GENERALS of their own when they popped up in trailers. Hype about all the Pokemon that could get useful Alola forms, the Zygarde quest, Team Skull love, Ultra Beast mysteries... Holy shit Gamefreak served nothing other than disappointment. And then they had the nerve to defecate all over us again with USUM. "ULTRA CHANGES", yeah okay. The Looker postgame episode was scrapped, Zygarde was basically told to piss off, and the Ultra Mega-I mean Ultra Corridor was pathetic just to name a few.
Go to hell Masuda. I hope the new games sell around the tune of 8 million copies which ought to make executives angry.
