the idea of rotoms possessing technology to help people is actually a great concept as well, but the execution is so fucking soulless and boring. personally i partly blame the rotomdex for why the phones are so shit and soulless, it's the typical GF one extreme to the other; people hated rotomdex because it was annoying as fuck and wouldn't shut up, so GF just decided to turn rotom into barren husks they can reuse without any additional effort.
