The point is that fujos will still draw them even if a male character has a bigger yume fanbase because they don't give a fuck about numbers and still find that character hot. The same applies to yumes as well, even characters like Sephiroth has his yumes.
At the end this whole "made for women" is a no argument because both het and gay fanart is mostly done by women for other women and whether you like it or not most of the time fags consume both because both kind of art show hot men
