Even legendaries should have boundaries. Designing Pokémon with literal human objects with no subtly is shit I'd expect from Digimon. But even they had some decency with Metal Garurumon and made it's Sword blades subtle. Pokemon are supposed to be natural extentions of the environment they inhabit, and a dog holding an artficial object in it's mouth is just not natural. But if you're going to make that argument, than pic related is also a natural design.
