Hear me out, they (amourfags) are clearly severely autistic and therefore has a less than zero chance at finding a real life girlfriend, so they look up to someone just as autistic like Ash to give them hope they they too might find love someday. Any competent low life knows Ash and Serena aren't and never will happen, but amourfags are just so desperate for them to be so they have a shimmer of hope for themselves
