Tbh they should've made the region a gigantic city with different sections. The early towns had the right idea by being Brooklyn based, so it's a more peaceful vibe with a hipster style.
The sky bridge is actually very boring compared to the Brooklyn bridge that it's based on. The Brooklyn bridge has an extremely nice view of Manhattan's downtown and you can even see everything up to ~50th street (midtown).
Gamefreak's biggest problem they have a SHIT TON of great IRL locations to base off of but make them very basic in the game.
