Personally, Drasna's Noivern has been waiting for this part since the beginning of the fight. There was always a slight worry that you would find your way to bullshit out of the attack's otherwise destructive power, and there were also instances in which Drasna wanted to conserve her Noivern's Special Attack for other means.
But now, now there's no other choice. Your Noivern is at half HP and what with your constant boosting and health replenishing, this is the perfect window of opportunity to do what Altaria and Dragalge were unable to accomplish.
"VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRN!"
Drasna's Noivern coughs up and shoots a burning meteor at your Noivern. The meteor greatly expands to the point where dodging it is an impossibility. Noivern lets out a screech as the meteor collides with and instantly escalates him high up above the battlefield.
See, the reason it didn't explode on contact is because the explosion comes /much/ later.
"Uh oh... N-Noivern, Noivern hang on!"
"Verrrrn..."
The fiery meteorite takes Noivern high up into the air until it reaches its climax. For a few fleeting moments, it stays there in place, Noivern uses this moment to catch his breath before suddenly exploding in a large flash of meteroic power.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIII!"
It's like a freaking fireworks show, shooting stars rain over the battlefield, and a severely injured Noivern goes down with the rest of them.
It's not looking too good for the sweeper.
