>>47740082There was a lot of porn in the early days, then moderation became pretty strict. Even when porn was openly being posted, the coomer bullshit was not nearly as bad as it is now. Almost every single thread is about coomer shit. The "PokeGoddess" threads would have been soundly mocked back then.
We can blame the change in the fanbase to a large extent, but the reality is that the franchise is (and has been) deteriorating. Everyone has their opinion on when it started, but there's an unsaid consensus that Pokemon, as a game franchise or as an anime, isn't as good as it once was, so why care? Might as well coom to the (multiple) Pokegirls in bootyshorts.
